The office complex on the Antwerp Ring

This project was carried out by ITB, a former affiliate of Cegelec, which was rebranded as Cegelec on January 1, 2025.

At Post X, ITB was responsible for the installation of fire detection, access control systems, data cabling, and most of the electrical work; specifically, the high-voltage cabin, low-voltage distribution, secondary distribution boards, and lighting. ITB also assisted several end users with their move-in.

Since the buildings’ heating and cooling are provided through concrete core activation, ITB was active on-site already during the structural works. ITB began by cabling the lighting and fire detection in the concrete slabs, after the reinforcement had been placed but before the concrete was poured. Initially, this was done in phases and on-call. As the project progressed, we maintained a continuous presence with six to ten team members.
